Comments on Proposed Changes to Lawyer Advertising Rule
The Missouri Bar Special Committee on Lawyer Advertising has compiled input from the bar on a number of possible changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct related to lawyer advertising, as well as the possibility of establishing a Bar Committee to monitor compliance with the advertising rules. Two Formal Opinions Issued by Advisory Committee of Supreme Court of Missouri
The Advisory Committee of the Supreme Court of Missouri has issued two formal opinions, one addressing the destruction of a client’s paper file without client consent, if the firm has a complete electronic version, and another on whether it is permissible for defense counsel in criminal cases to advise defendant regarding waiver of post-conviction relief.
